Nanowrimo Newby

The crazy literature month of fanacticing of 50, 000
words all in the matter of one month.
If you suddenly stalk my blog this close and you see my post already, then that means something.... And, well, if you don't then I'm saying that it's the eve of Nanowrimo and around 3 more hours until it actually starts and I just decided in doing it this year a few minutes ago.

I have never done this before but I've heard it, so I'm actually feeling pretty pumped and excited since it's my first time!

And I do love to write but I never manage to, so it's a great exercise for me. :)

If you've joined, have fun! And if you don't then I'll try to keep of posts (and of school reading) and an update here and there on what I'm writing of.

Wish me some luck! ^^

by Gena Showalter
Pages: 404
Format: Hardcover
Year Pub: 2012
Publisher: Harlequin Teen
She won’t rest until she’s sent every walking corpse back to its grave. Forever.

Had anyone told Alice Bell that her entire life would change course between one heartbeat and the next, she would have laughed. From blissful to tragic, innocent to ruined? Please. But that’s all it took. One heartbeat. A blink, a breath, a second, and everything she knew and loved was gone.

Her father was right. The monsters are real….

To avenge her family, Ali must learn to fight the undead. To survive, she must learn to trust the baddest of the bad boys, Cole Holland. But Cole has secrets of his own, and if Ali isn’t careful, those secrets might just prove to be more dangerous than the zombies….

Food Love: Cotton Candy

Remember those childhood memories when you went to a carnival or a fair and you saw this bag with a stick coming out of it with fluffy pink and blue colors and it looked just like a gigantic cotton on a stick?

Then you went and asked your parents if you can have one. Obviously they didn't know that you didn't know what it was. But when you got a hold of it, it was so fluffy. It was cotton! But you can eat it?

Remember that first daring piece popped in your mouth, and then it just dissolved. Where did it go? You just kept on eating it and eating it until it was gone and you wanted another but you couldn't because you're parents said it was bad for you.

Remember that memory? Of soft clouds that you can eat? Of different colors and different flavors and the wonders of how they made it.

Yup, oh Cotton Candy.

Another one please, sir!

And then, with one kiss, Nick and Norah are off on an adventure set against the backdrop of New York City—and smack in the middle of all the joy, anxiety, confusion, and excitement of a first date.

This he said/she said romance told by YA stars Rachel Cohn and David Levithan is a sexy, funny roller coaster of a story about one date over one very long night, with two teenagers, both recovering from broken hearts, who are just trying to figure out who they want to be—and where the next great band is playing.

Here Comes K-Pop Back into my Life

What's so Awesome about K-Pop (Korean pop)?
  • Ha! I don't know, cause I don't understand what the heck they're saying?
    • No
  • Cause their sing's good and they have awesome dance moves?
    • Yes
  • Their lyrics aren't trashy as E-pop (ha--get it?-- English pop? XD I'm so corny)?
    • Yes
  • They're just a bunch of Koreans singing with auto tune?
    • Nopedy nope
  • Then why?! TELL MEEEE!!!!
    • Cause their pretty awesome.
      • Just saying, you know, in my opinion
        • I'm not saying E-pop is bad
        • both are very good
        • but sometimes you'd want to listen to something else just for a change :)
  • True statement: the dance moves they do are gush worthy
    • I never get bored of looking at them dance!
      • That says something
P.S. Don't call the boy bands an Asian version of One Direction, please, then I'll give you free cake and not bite off your hand. :)
